CON-A52
Used for integrating PTZ and I/O devices with the Ionit DVRs.
Converts signal from PC COM RS232 into an RS485 connection.
CON-PT811M: Input/Output Kit
CON-PT811M Module PT811 has 8 inputs and 8 Open Collector outputs which can be entirely controlled with the ionit software. Unlike the internal IO-VGS4C module, the PT-811 module connects to the COM port of the PC with a twisted pair cable. You will need to convert the serial port of the PC (RS232) into an RS485 connection using con-A52 which can be ordered separately (see above).
You can install up to 32 PT-811 modules on the same RS485 line, setting up a different address using the configuration software. The RS485 BUS allows wiring PT-811 modules up to ~3000â?? from the DVR.
The PT-908 relay module can be cabled to the PT-811 to convert the voltage outputs into relay outputs which can control powered devices directly.
The PT-811 modules are more expensive then the internal IO-VGS4C modules, but are very useful when the devices to be connected are positioned at a distance from the PC or when you require more inputs/outputs than can be obtained with the internal VG-IO cards.
IO-VGS4C: Input/Output Kit
The Ionit software can also be used to control inputs and relay outputs which can be used to interface with external electrical devices.
For example, the relay outputs can be used to activate a siren, turn on a light or open/close a door. These functions can be activated following an intrusion or manually from local software or from a remote PC. The inputs can be used to connect the alarm output from a burglar alarm, for instance, or an infrared sensor, or a contact on a door, in order to activate recording.
The IO-VGS4C card has 4 inputs and 4 relay outputs and connects directly to the ionit card by a flat cable. Call for details.
